Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes! well behaved dogs are welcome. Please take your dog poo bags home with you.
Q: What are your opening hours at Perry Court?
A: The farm shop and tearoom is open Monday - Sunday 8am - 6pm except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day when we are closed. Bank holiday hours may vary.
Q: Can I order an afternoon tea at Perry Court Farm Tearoom?
Afternoon teas are pre-order only, you can order via our afternoon tea booking page here or over the phone. We have freshly baked scones for cream teas and lots of cakes available without booking should you want to drop in!
Q: Can the afternoon tea be vegan, gluten or dairy free?
A: We can cater for all dietary requirements we need at least 48 hours notice.
Q: When is the fish hut open?
A: The fish hut (Southcoast Seafayre) is open Wednesday - Friday 8am - 4pm and Saturday 8am - 1pm.
Q: Can I order fish?
A: You can pre-order fish by emailing seafayre@gmail.com Please give plenty of notice.
Q: What dietary requirements do you support in the tearoom?
A: We provide a series of gluten, dairy free and vegan cakes, subject to availability (they are so yummy sometimes we sell out!). Please inform a member of the tearoom staff about any dietary requirements before ordering. Our kitchen uses nuts, dairy and gluten, we cannot ensure dishes are completely free of allergens.
Q: Is any of your fruit and vegetables home grown?
A: Yes! We pride ourselves on being a true farm shop, selling what we grow from field to shelf daily. Year round all the apples and pears and majority of soft/stone fruit are home grown - they are usually separated from the 'exotic' fruit section to make clear. Our home grown veg is seasonal and we try to grow a wide range from winter cauliflowers and cabbages to summer lettuces. Please ask a member of staff for more info when you visit.
Q: Is your home grown fruit & veg organic?
A: We are not registered organic. We follow traditional farming methods mixed with modern values such as natural prevention, improving the soil for future generations and spend a huge amount of thought improving the farm as a home for natural predators to pests such as hedgehogs, toads and a huge variety of birds. We pride ourselves in the large numbers of migratory birds that spend the seasons here.
Q: Do you sell local products at Perry Court Farm Shop?
A: Yes! In addition to our home grown or reared produce we source local products from farmers, producers and small businesses in our local area. If you are a local small business with a product that would match our core values at Perry Court, please get in touch.
Q: Are there farm animals
A:Yes, we have Elvis and Murphy the donkeys along the North Downs Way footpath, you may also spot our pigs, geese and from time to time, chickens and sheep. We do however ask you not to feed them and please keep dogs on leads both on and around the footpath.
Q: When is your Apple Fayre?
A: In 2026, our Apple Fayre is on the 3rd and 4th of October. Our Festive Fayre is on the 14th and 15th of November 2026.
Q: Do you do pick your own?
A: Soft fruit pick your own has finished for the year. We do pick your own sunflowers beginning of August, and plan to do pick your own apples in September and at our Apple Fayre, and pick your own pumpkins in October. Please call the farm shop on 01233 812302 for exact times and dates.
